Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd. is conducting a Walk-In Interview for experienced professionals in its Quality Control (QC) department at its Baddi facility in Himachal Pradesh.

The company is looking for candidates who have practical experience in pharmaceutical quality control analysis, analytical testing, method-related activities, and handling of laboratory instruments.

🔬 Role & Technical Requirements

The selected candidates will be involved in various Quality Control laboratory activities, including analysis and evaluation of pharmaceutical materials and products.

Candidates should have hands-on experience in:

1. Pharmaceutical Analysis

Experience in analysis of:

• Finished pharmaceutical products

• Stability samples

• Raw materials

• Other samples handled within the QC laboratory

Candidates should be familiar with laboratory procedures, analytical testing, documentation, and interpretation of analytical results.

2. Analytical Method Activities

Candidates should have knowledge or practical exposure to:

• Analytical Method Validation

• Analytical Method Verification

• Analytical Method Transfer

• Understanding and following approved analytical procedures

• Evaluation and interpretation of analytical results

3. QC Instrument Handling

Practical experience in operating analytical instruments is important for these positions. Candidates should have exposure to instruments such as:

• HPLC

• GC

• UV-Visible Spectrophotometer

• FTIR

• Polarimeter

• Karl Fischer (KF) Apparatus

Candidates should also be capable of identifying analytical problems, performing basic troubleshooting, and interpreting instrument-generated data.

📋 Quality & Investigation Knowledge

Candidates should have a good understanding of pharmaceutical Quality Control processes and laboratory practices.

Knowledge/exposure to the following will be beneficial:

• Solid Oral Dosage (SOD) products

• ICH guidelines

• OOS – Out of Specification investigations

• OOT – Out of Trend investigations

• Deviation handling and investigations

• Data interpretation

• Laboratory troubleshooting

• Good documentation practices

• Pharmaceutical quality systems

Candidates with exposure to regulatory requirements associated with USFDA, MHRA, and ANVISA will have an added advantage.

👨‍🔬 Preferred Candidates

Torrent Pharmaceuticals is particularly looking for candidates who can contribute to QC operations with minimal training.

Immediate joiners are preferred.

Candidates having previous experience in regulatory-compliant pharmaceutical manufacturing plants will also be given preference.
