Job Overview
The Office of the Director of Medical Education (DME), Hyderabad inviting applications from eligible candidates for various Medical, Allied Health Services, Administrative, Pharmacist and Support Staffposts on a contract/honorarium basis.
Selected candidates will be appointed at TIMS, Sanathnagar, under the administrative control of the Director of Medical Education, Telangana for a period up to 31 March 2027 or until the regular posts are filled, whichever is earlier.
Vacancy Details
A total of 240 posts have been announced under different categories.
1. Medical Category
Medical Officer – 144 Posts
Educational qualifications:
Applicants must possess:
* MBBS or equivalent qualification.
* Registration with the Telangana Medical Council is mandatory.
2.Nursing & Allied Health Services
#Pharmacist Grade-II– 14 Posts
Candidates should have:
* Intermediate qualification.
* D.Pharmacy or B.Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
* Registration with the Telangana Pharmacy Council.
#Lab Technician Grade-II– 48 Posts
Candidates should have:
*DMLT or B.Sc (MLT) or Intermediate Vocational (MLT) recognized by the Government.
* One-year apprenticeship in Government Hospitals.
*Registration with TGPMB.
* If candidates possess both DMLT and B.Sc (MLT), the qualification with higher percentage of marks will be considered.
**Preference:** Candidates who have previously worked in the Telangana State Government on contract or outsourcing basis will be given preference.
#Lab Technician Grade-I – 12 Posts
Candidates should fulfill all the qualifications prescribed for Lab Technician Grade-II.
Additionally, applicants must have:
*Minimum 5 years of work experience in hospitals with 220 or more beds.
*Knowledge of NABL guidelines.
#Medico Social Worker Grade-II– 6 Posts
Applicants should possess:
Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from a UGC-recognized University or Institution.
At least 3 years of experience in Medical Social Work, Hospital Social Services, Psychiatric Social Work, or Public Health Services.
3.Administrative & Support Staff
Junior Assistant- 16 Posts
Candidates must have:
Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University in India.
Additionally, applicants should possess:
* Knowledge or qualification in Computer Applications.
**OR**
Bachelor's Degree with Computer as one of the subjects from a recognized University.
Selection process
Eligible candidates will be shortlisted as per the qualifications and eligibility criteria mentioned in the official notification. Further details regarding selection, document verification, and appointment will be communicated by the Director of Medical Education, Telangana.
