Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd. Is hiring for QC Microbiology Executive.
A QC Microbiology Executive is responsible for maintaining microbiological quality standards in pharmaceutical manufacturing by performing laboratory testing, environmental monitoring, and documentation in accordance with quality management systems and applicable regulatory requirements. The role helps ensure that raw materials, manufacturing processes, and finished products meet established microbiological specifications before release.
Key Responsibilities
1.Microbiological Analysis
Perform routine microbiological examination of raw materials, water, in-process samples, and finished products.
Conduct microbial limit testing and total viable count analysis.
Assist with sterility testing and bacterial endotoxin testing where applicable.
Identify and record microbial growth using approved laboratory methods.
2.Environmental Monitoring
Monitor cleanroom environments through air, surface, and personnel sampling.
Record environmental monitoring results and report any deviations from established limits.
Support contamination control activities within manufacturing areas.
3.Media Preparation
Prepare microbiological culture media following approved laboratory procedures.
Carry out growth promotion testing to verify media performance.
Sterilize media, glassware, and laboratory accessories before use.
4.Laboratory Equipment
Operate laboratory instruments such as autoclaves, incubators, laminar airflow cabinets, colony counters, and pH meters.
Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Ensure calibration records are current and equipment is fit for use.
Documentation
Maintain laboratory notebooks, worksheets, and electronic records accurately.
Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
Assist in preparing reports related to testing activities and investigations.
Quality and Regulatory Compliance
Follow approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and laboratory instructions.
Participate in investigations involving deviations, out-of-specification (OOS) results, and corrective actions.
Support compliance with pharmaceutical quality standards and international regulatory expectations.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
Basic understanding of microbiological laboratory techniques.
Knowledge of aseptic practices and contamination control principles.

Familiarity with microbiological testing methods.
Understanding of pharmaceutical quality systems.
Strong analytical and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
Good communication and organizational abilities.
