Job Overview

Fortrea is hiring an Assistant Clinical Data Analyst for its Bangalore office. The role involves supporting clinical trial data review, maintaining electronic data capture systems, resolving data queries, ensuring data accuracy, and following regulatory guidelines throughout the clinical research process.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Information Technology, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Nursing, or a related field.
Equivalent experience or relevant certifications in allied health professions may also be considered.

Preferred Experience

Up to one year of experience in clinical research or clinical data management.
Fresh graduates with relevant academic knowledge may also be suitable for entry-level opportunities

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and company guidelines.
  • Complete mandatory training programs within the required timelines.
  • Review and resolve data queries while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Perform assigned clinical data management activities according to established workflows.
  • Review reports and take appropriate actions based on project-specific data management plans.
  • Conduct routine data consistency checks and review data listings to identify discrepancies.
  • Ensure all clinical data management activities comply with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Create, maintain, and manage user accounts for Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems.
  • Process user access requests accurately and efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot EDC access issues and coordinate with system support teams when necessary.
  • Generate and distribute user access reports for reconciliation and project oversight.
  • Support database archiving, report generation, and other administrative data management tasks.
  • Assist with additional responsibilities assigned by the project or management team.
