Job Overview
Selected candidates will be responsible for processing and reviewing adverse event reports, maintaining safety data in validated databases, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with international safety teams to support pharmacovigilance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end processing of Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs).
- Review and process adverse event reports received from spontaneous sources, literature, and clinical studies.
- Enter and maintain safety information in validated pharmacovigilance databases such as Oracle Argus Safety or ArisG.
- Apply MedDRA and WHO Drug Dictionary coding accurately.
- Prepare clear and concise case narratives based on available medical information.
- Assess cases for seriousness, causality, listedness, and expectedness according to applicable guidelines.
- Conduct quality control (QC) reviews to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Follow global pharmacovigilance regulations, Good Pharmacovigilance Practices (GVP), and internal standard operating procedures.
- Work closely with cross-functional and international drug safety teams to meet reporting timelines.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Applicants should possess one of the following qualifications:
Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm)
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D)
Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)
Experience
Approximately 2.6 to 6.5 years of experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety.
Practical experience in ICSR processing is preferred.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Oracle Argus Safety or ArisG safety databases.
Strong understanding of MedDRA coding and WHO Drug Dictionary.
Knowledge of global pharmacovigilance regulations and GVP guidelines.
Good clinical data interpretation and medical writing skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet regulatory deadlines.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
